Cyclestreets.net is a brilliant little website for bicyclists. Just enter where you are and where you want to go and it will take you a proper cyclists route, tell you the distance, how quiet or otherwiseit will be and how many calories you will burn completing it.
This is extraordinary. You can actually choose a route to avoid unnecessary hills. Excellent for the part-time cyclist!

Bicycle Shops or Bicycle Accessories Outlets or Cycle Repairers

Ross Cycles Ltd

145 Coulsdon Rd, Caterham CR3 5NJ, UK – 01883 331414

Ross is very approachable and efficient. Always provides a top rate service at a great price. Thoroughly recommend.

Efficient service. Didn't try to sell me new parts I didn't really need.

Rolling On Cycles

324 Chipstead Valley Rd, Coulsdon CR5 3BE, UK – 01737 552268

Standard local bike shop. They might need to order in your 36 hole track hub but you get a personal service. You can take your bike in and have an informal chat on the spot about any potential work, and you won't be talked into spending unnecessary money. Parking bays across the road are also really handy if you need to drive down.

I always find the fellow in this shop really helpful. The shop looks great and if I cycled I'd dame well buy a bike from him. Top Banana.

Cycling Made Easy

226-230 Brighton Rd, Coulsdon CR5 2NF, UK – 020 8660 8823

What a great place to start your e-bike adventure. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Bought my e-bike here a year ago (using a cycle to work scheme) and had it serviced today having done over 2,000 miles on it. It was pretty muddy when it went in but sparkly clean and ready for more action after. An e-bike is so much better and faster than driving to work, I feel fitter and have saved hundreds of pounds in petrol. Cycling home is pretty much uphill all the way but a doddle on the e-bike. Cycling Made Easy has its end of summer sale in at the moment so go and grab yourself a bargain!

I thoroughly recommend this company and the Coulsdon branch! Although quite a long way from where I live, I was very well taken care of by the whole team who are very knowledgeable about electric bikes. They guided me through the whole process with lots of care and experience. After a long road test the team helped me choose the right e-bike and offered sterling after sales service too!
