Great friendly pub and one person stood out from the reat, think he name was robin. I'm sure he could serve 50 people at one time and still remember what they ordered. Great addition to the pub.
I have been drinking hear for about 33 years and I don't give a stuff about presentation etc. The staff are superb and treat myself and my wife like royalty. Lovely people Chris & Fi xxx

Had not been back for many years. Living elsewhere.. Pleasant service. Coffee available from a machine but instead offered tea, and beautifully presented, enjoyed. The premises could do with an upgrade however the friendly atmosphere made all the difference. Would go again but then it held sentimental memories for me over many years, so I have a soft spot for it.
First time to visit and love it. Great country - feeling pub, great food and staff.

We use this as our local and it's normal really good, we've noticed you got rid of the rude bar staff that's been the best change. But you now have some stupid paper straws that are as useful as lead balloon. Seriously, there's otherways to save the planet and using paper straws is NOT the one. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs to have their head checking over. Paper straws I mean really
Good selection of beers at very reasonable prices. Quick service.

Dined here recently and it was a superb experience. Food was wonderful, not cheap but not over expensive for the really good quality meal with fantastic flavours. We especially loved the atmospheric lighting, just right, not too dark not too bright. Added to this, the fact that there was no loud music, so we were able to chat without difficulty was such a bonus in a restaurant these days. We will be visiting again and would thoroughly tell friends to go there.
Good food. Friendly place. Attentive staff.

A lovely little restaurant that I'd never noticed before a Google search. The portions aren't particularly big but this was simple food done really well. I'm embarrassed to say I didn't catch her name but or waitress transformed a quote week night dinner into a wonderful experience. She was funny and attentive (we WERE the only people there but I get the sense that she would've been great anyway). I'll definitely go back
We first ate here when it was very newly opened, and we've been back repeatedly over the year since - including having a party for 25 people. The food and the service always exceed expectations, even when those expectations take the form of thinking for a week about how delicious the t-bone steak is going to be. A short, regularly-changing menu is all handled impeccably. The wine list is excellent. Special requirements are handled helpfully and without fuss. I really can't praise the place enough.

Always nice staff, regardless of food which is always consistent it's nice to have a family atmosphere in here. We've come back because it's friendly and the two course deals work on Fridays. Accommodating to give us a nice big table for our buggy.
This Pizza Express is the best around... fantastic hot freshly made pizza and friendly staff. Definitely the best. Well done

The food was delicious and very good value. However, one of the staff could do with better people skills.
This is a wonderful restaurant, we have been using this local eatery for over 8 years now and the food is simply divine, we just can’t fault it, we recommend the deep fried butterfly prawns, Smokey chicken or spare ribs from the starter menu. The owner is just wonderful and a great host, he loves to talk to all the guests so feel free to call for him and converse, a really nice guy who loves to know and chat to his guests. We have been going here for years and locally it’s well known that Ben (the owner) offers a 15% discount by following an ancient Chinese patting of the head custom. He is there most nights and just ask for him through the waiters (ask for Ben) once he comes over to the table two light pats on the top of his head with the tips of your fingers and you will notice a 15% discount on your bill, it started years ago as a local custom and they see it as a good luck sign. The food here is great but a little expensive but there is an off licence next door and you are allowed to bring your own drinks so you save a little on the bill. This is also one of very few places that won’t allow you to tip, seen as an insult the diners are often told not to leave tips (a great idea I think, this is UK not the USA) so again do not worry about leaving a tip, this restaurant has some great customer service idea’s.

Break away from the stereotypes. So much more than pasta and pizza. Real authentic Sicilian food here. Small, intimate, friendly family restaurant.
Fantastic food and friendly, attentive service.

I wanted some quiet and cosy for my birthday so I've booked a table at Zero Quattro. This was the best decision. Staff were friendly. The portions are huge. The food was great. Thank you, we'll come back again.
Family friendly and very welcoming. Sea bass dish is excellent! Highly recommended.

Amazing experience. Food was wonderful I had the battered halloumi with chips and it was amazing. Very accommodating for my sister who has many allergies. The chef made fresh chips for her and came out to check what she could and couldn't have in order to reduce cross contamination. Lovely assistant manager (Jack) and kitchen staff (Keelan & Stuart). Will defiantly go back. Thank you all for such a wonderful lunch!
Great service! Assistant Manager Jack and Chefs Keelan and Stuart were very accommodating with my food intolerances. Very helpful and very reassuring. And had a lovely afternoon out.

promises so much from outside but very poor. poor tv quality do not visit for a football match. went to have something to eat. arrived at 19.10. menus on table. went to order..... stopped serving at 19.00. lol. so bad.
Not that cheap considering it's part of a large chain of pubs. Nicely decorated though with plenty of tellys to watch sports. On big football nights they operate a table service which is pretty good. Food is OK. DJ on Friday and Saturday nights and quizz night on a Sunday.
Outwood Ln, Chipstead, Coulsdon CR5 3NP, UK – 01737 552661
Nice location. Nice inside. Service very good and friendly. However they had run out of my first choice of main course and second choice would have been pricey. What i eventually chose was extremely nice. No soap in gents, well there was some because the container had been removed from the dispenser.
I cannot say enough good things about the place. It is beyond superb. We had a week day lunch here to celebrate a birthday. We booked beforehand as we know that on weekends it is impossible to get a table for lunch as it is so popular and I am glad we booked as the restaurant was busy. All the tables were booked but the restaurant is laid out well enough that it never felt over crowded. The staff were very friendly and attentive from the time we arrived until the time we left. We had one server at the table which is always better as you’re not being asked two or three times during the meal if everything is okay. The restaurant and pub are well laid out, quaint and historic and have been very tastefully designed. They have an extensive beer, wine and sprint selection. The best of all was the food. The taste was incredible, far more than any of us expected from a ‘pub lunch’ and the presentation was fantastic. It is clear to us that the team here are passionate about delivering a dining experience from the way everything was put together. We had a drink the pub before our meal and it was very cosy in front of the fireplace. We will definitely go back and can recommend it to everyone.
